What you'll do
During the tour, we'll visit two small local breweries and local bars where we do several tasting. One of the stops has beautiful copper taps with a choice of 52 local Dutch beers, while another of our breweries hires the homeless and provides training to be professional brewers. One of our stops has been operating since 1895 and has a beer menu that changes daily, making each tour a unique experience.
You'll discover the fascinating history behind these establishments while sipping on the best beers from past and present, surrounded by beautiful Amsterdam scenery.
- You'll learn all about the creation of Amsterdam's canal system and its function within the city.
- Your first stop is an Amsterdam bar with 52 taps exclusively pouring Dutch beer. We'll help you make the difficult choice of which to choose.
- We'll educate you about our beer history as we walk from the Herengracht into the oldest part of the city.
- We'll stop for our Secret Sip in a bar that was built in 1895 and is operating today with a beer menu that changes daily.
- We'll walk through the center of Amsterdam, passing the Trading House and Dam Square and discuss this historical location.
- Next, we'll visit Amsterdam's first microbrewery for a tasting of four beers.
- After walking one of the oldest streets in the city, our little Chinatown, we'll end in another microbrewery to sample three more beers.

Our tour starts in the beautiful, historic Canal Area. Our first stop is by
the biggest and most interesting of the canals, the Herengracht or
Gentlemens Canal, where the wealthy merchants built their palaces during the
Golden Age of the 17th century.
We'll also visit the oldest part of the city, dating back to the 12th
century, passing the Trading House and Dam Square with the Holocaust
Monument, The Royal Palace, and the New Church.
All of these areas are rich in beautiful architecture and fascinating
history, the perfect place for a Secret Beer Tour!

Where the tour will end?
The tour will end at the heart of the Red Light District.
HOW CAN I CATCH UP IF I ARRIVE LATE FOR THE TOUR?
All guests must arrive on time but if you inform us before the tour starts about being late we can try to assist you by telling you where the guide is. Please call the number on the contact us page. We will try our best, yet we cannot promise that the guide can come back for you. Also, please note that unfortunately we cannot issue refunds.
I CANNOT FIND ON THE WEBSITE HOW TO CHANGE THE DATE OF THE TOUR. CAN YOU CHANGE IT FOR ME OR HELP ME IN ANY WAY?
Yes, of course! Please let us know your reference number and the date that you want your booking to be moved. We can do this as long as you give us 48 hours notice, and we have a tour to add you to.

All customers have to pay a small booking fee charged by our ticket provider.
2) Yes! You can pay through Paypal, but Paypal also charges a fee so we have to add 4.8% onto the price.
WE HAVE TYPED THE CODE, BUT IT WON'T LET US BOOK. HOW ARE WE GOING TO USE THE CODE IF THE BOOKING WIDGET WON'T LET US?

Where do I add my discount voucher?
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE CRAFT BEER TOUR?
The craft beer will visit 3/4 venues and include on average around 11 samples of beer. Each sample is the equivalent of a small glass of beer. The total amount that this would accumulate to throughout the tour would be approximately 3 pints. We highly recommend having a substantial meal before the tour as no food is included. There will be an opportunity to eat at the end of the tour and our guide will happily recommend a few options. During the tour you will have the opportunity to purchase salty snacks from the venues.
I AM TRAVELLING WITH MY FAMILY, IS THE TOUR OK FOR INFANTS/CHILDREN?
As the emphasis on this tour is on alcoholic beverages, this tour is not suitable for families with children under 18. However our food tour is child and family friendly and a great option for children over 6.
I DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL. CAN I BOOK YOUR TOUR?
As this tours emphasis is on alcoholic beverages, this tour would not be suitable for anyone that does not drink alcohol.
I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE YOUR TOUR BUT IT IS ALREADY FULLY BOOKED. IS THERE A WAY I CAN DO THE TOUR?
Our tours are often sold out very quickly. If the date you requested is not available, please do not hesitate to email us at [email protected] and we can see if there is anything we can do. We cannot promise but we will try our best to sort something for you.
IS THERE A LOT OF WALKING?
To join our Craft Beer Tour, you should wear comfortable shoes. There will be around 1.5 miles of walking, however the majority of time will be spent in the actual venues.
I CANNOT FIND A WAY TO PRINT THE CONFIRMATION. IS IT OK IF I HAVE IT ON MY PHONE?
You don't have to print your voucher. Confirmation on your phone will be fine!
HOW MANY PEOPLE MAX ARE ON THIS TOUR?
We take 12 people maximum. If you are more than 12 people, please do not hesitate to email us and we will try to see if we can accommodate.
If I purchase a voucher as a gift, or am given a voucher how long is it valid for?
All of our vouchers expire one year from the date of purchase.
What if it rains or I change my plans?
Unfortunately, the weather is unpredictable in Amsterdam. We do not issue refunds as per our terms and conditions. We also inform you that we never cancel a booking even if we have only 2 people! Can I pay the tour in cash?
You must book directly on our website. We do not accept cash payments. Our online payment is safe, secured and SSL protected.
Why do we need to pay for booking fee?
The booking fee that you have to pay is up to our ticket provider and we can't change it. All our clients need to pay for it upon booking. The booking fee charged contributes to the cost of the ticketing system to provide an excellent service to our customers.
Foreign Transaction Fees
A few banks have charged their customer an extra fee while booking with us (this isn't the booking fee but another fee added by the bank). We think this is unfair, if this happens let us know by showing us in your bank statement and we will refund this fee as a gesture of good will.
